Description: Our Client is seeking an Administrative Assistant for Birmingham, AL. ||ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: Approx. 12 MONTHS ||JOB DESCRIPTION:|| This position will provide administrative support to the Land Group (Earth Science and Groundwater, Geotech and Fossil Dam Safety, and Conceptual Engineering). Job duties include: -Plan and schedule meetings, lunch-and-learns, get-to-knows, etc. and prepare meeting presentation packages. -Compile and prepare report packages for internal customers. Store, organize, and manage files according to the company retention policy using the Omni-Rim software. -Manage scheduling and entry of timesheets in Estars. -Manage the office supply inventory. -Arrange building maintenance support when necessary. -Prepare cubicles for new hires, summer interns, co-ops, and rotating employees. -Prepare purchase orders and change requests for vendor/contract purchases using the Maximo work management system. -Perform invoice verification and reconciliation using the Oracle financial application. -Prepare expense reports in the Oracle application. -Provide other general office support (photocopying, faxing, greeting, etc.).
Qualifications: ||QUALIFICATIONS:|| -Experience or working knowledge of the Maximo work management system, Oracle financial application, Estars timekeeping application, Powerplant -Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills -Safety Focused
